Hello again guys! I’ll be talking about my inspirations in creating this blog. You may have noticed that I answered a question that says “May I know who is this someone you mentioned earlier that inspired you to create this blog?” . I’ll be talking about the Malaysian cosplayers Ying Tze and Angie0_0. It started when I was just a fan, browsing through their Facebook pages and liking their posts about cosplay. It was then that, when I attended a convention here in the Philippines (BTW I’m a Filipino) , I saw that the tarpaulin next event will feature international guests, which included Ying Tze and Angie0_0 . I told myself that it was my chance to meet them in person. It was January back then when I saw the tarpaulin. I endured saving money for 3 months just to be able to buy a ticket. After all my hard work, it finally paid off. I was in the Meet and Greet room where I will be meeting the guests. I was both excited and nervous during my stay there. I forgot to mention that there is a Question and Answer portion during that time. When they started the Q&A, no one was really going to the front to ask questions, so I courageously stood and march to the front and ask my question. It was really nerve-wracking during those moments, but I told myself that there’s no turning back. Then I asked, “What inspires you to do cosplaying?” . By summarizing their answers, I conclude that they do cosplaying because they wanted to. It’s like a hobby for them, not a job, to do cosplaying. I was really inspired by that time they said that message. After that there was the autograph portion, where you let them sign whatever you want, from posters to personal things like camera etc etc. I let them sign the posters I bought during the event and my headphones and external hard drive. I was speechless because of that. And that’s the reason why I did blogging.
Greetings guys! Today, I’ll be talking about how I started playing games!
Music is known to tap into various parts of the brain, that is why it is utilized by many experts in treating depressed or anxious patients. The meter, timber, rhythm and pitch of music are managed in areas of the brain that deal with emotions and mood. These key areas are the hippocampus, prefrontal cortex and the parietal lobe.
The hippocampus, a structure of the limbic system, is responsible for spatial orientation, navigation and the consolidation of new memories. It also brings about emotional responses. Theprefrontal cortex, on the other hand, manages extreme impulses and emotions. Known as the “seat of good judgment,” it enables one to make good and acceptable calls so that inappropriate behaviors are prevented.
As for the parietal lobe, it is in charge of spatial orientation, information processing and cognition, affects many others.
Because of its ability to alter the different parts of the brain, music has been utilized in a number of therapies. For example, it has been applied to stroke victims to teach them how to talk once again. At the same time, it is recommended to stutterers so that they can dictate words clearly once again. Since it reaches the emotion-related barriers too, music is now being utilized as a mood-altering therapy for depressed and anxious individuals.
Whenever you are feeling down and blue, music can get you out of the dumps – literally. Here are ways on how music can help improve your mood:
- Music can make you happy.
A lot of people turn to upbeat music whenever they feel sad or depressed, and it comes as no surprise why it is a viable solution for people feeling blue. For several years, music has made a lot of individuals happy. That’s because soothing tunes foster the release of serotonin, a hormone that fosters happiness and a general sense of well-being. It also flushes the body with dopamine, a neurotransmitter that makes you feel good. Music also paves the way for the release of norepinephrine, a hormone that brings about euphoria and elation.
With all the hormones that flood the body with happy thoughts, you do not have to purchase expensive anti-depressant medications just to feel better.
- Music can motivate you.
Songs with positive messages, such as “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor and “Stronger” by Kelly Clarkson are filled with inspirational meanings that can truly uplift your mood. The messages that are embedded in such songs – plus the euphoria that comes with singing these tunes – can motivate you to brush yourself up and try again.
Whenever you are feeling down in the dumps, listening (even singing) to “I Will Survive” at the top of your lungs can give you the strength and motivation to pick yourself up.
- Music can reduce your stresses.
Are work-related stresses making you feel sad and anxious? A great way to relieve the tensions that bring you down is to listen to music. Soothing tunes can help relax your tensed muscles, as well as pace down your breathing rate. With these physiologic changes, you can eliminate the stresses that can make you cranky and moody.
- Music can change your perception.
Even if a thing that saddens you is not present in front you, it can make you feel down for the days to come – especially if you let it get to you. But if you want to enjoy a more positive view in life, then what you need to do is listen to your favorite tunes.
A study conducted by experts from the University of Groningen shows that people enjoy a ‘happier’ perception when they listen to lively music. So if you want to drown all the depression away, crank up the radio and expect your perception to be changed – at least for the better.
- Music can modify your brain waves.
Music does not only change your present disposition, it can alter your future mood as well. Even if you turn that iPod off, the music that you just listened to can significantly change your brain waves. That means a positive mood for the hours (even days) to come.
Music is a safe and cheap way to improve your mood. And with a better disposition, you can have a better life.
Proving this true is a study conducted by experts from the University of Missouri. In this research, it has been proven that music is monumental in mood improvement. With a better sense of happiness, studies show that people experience improved health, greater relationship satisfaction, enhanced behavior – even higher income.
With music’s mood-uplifting effects, you might be asking yourself, “What’s the best music to listen to?” Well then, you will be glad to know that all kinds of music can improve your mood.
In a study conducted by researchers from Penn State University, results showed that students who listened to music – almost any type of music – reported feeling more joyful, optimistic, friendly, calm and relaxed.
While most recommend soothing music such as classical masterpieces by Beethoven and Mozart, the research shows that even the loudest of songs – such as rock and grunge – can make you feel positive. Whether you are into pop, new wave, soft rock or alternative genres, you can rely on your favorite tunes to make you feel happy – even after a crappy day.

Hello! Today, I’ll be talking about how I started watching anime. When I was a kid, I always watch cartoons (I think all of us watched cartoons when we are kids) and every time I go home after school, I always turn on the television and go to the channel Cartoon Network and Disney Channel. It was some day of my life, that I tried to change channels, and I find this channel called Hero TV (that’s Philippine channel) and it was playing Voltes V. I was seen by my sister and she told me that “Oh, it’s still showing after all this time”. After that, I was intruiged by that anime and continued to watch that anime every time it airs on television. There was a time that I don’t want to watch Voltes V so I watched other shows on that channel. I thought that it was really interesting to watch anime and it is better than American Cartoons. After that, I started buying anime magazines and there was this anime that really piques my interest, and it’s Fortune Arterial: Akai Yakusoku. There is a page where the heroine is laying on the bed, naked and I was like, whoa. After that, I searched the internet for that anime and that was the first time I watched anime on the internet. I was streaming on Crunchyroll by that time because I don’t really know anime streaming sites besides Crunchyroll. After that, I searched for interesting titles to watch and until such a time that, I became an anime addict, going to conventions and so on and so forth.
Have you ever encountered a big decision in life that you need to think about really carefully? Admit it, we all had experiences about that. People might be thinking that doing a certain thing might do them harm, or it might give them happiness. Some just do it because they have to, or simply just doing it for fun.
Hello everyone! I go by the name of Colichemarde :) . Today I’ll be talking about being biased on games other than the game you are playing.

How I started playing games! (posted 10th of June 2015)
Greetings guys! Today, I’ll be talking about how I started playing games!
We all have our own tastes in everything, be it food, music, especially games, right? I play MMORPG’s (Massive Multi Online Role Playing Game), FPS’ (First Person Shooting), and MOBA’s (Multi Online Battle Arena). But before I go to specifics in what titles I play, I’ll be telling you my story behind what is me today, a gamer.
It all started when I saw my brother playing Counter Strike, I was 7-8 years old that time, I think. After that, whenever I got the chance to play, I played CS for a short while and I totally suck at that time, I got double digit deaths and single digit kills XD ( I was a kid back then, no one can blame me :D ). Anyway after that, I was in grade school by that time when I saw television commercials about online games. I wasn’t interested by that time, until I started fiddling with the computer files. I found Grand Chase in the computer, and started patching it (Patch - updating of game). After I did that, I started the game, and unfortunately, it says some kind of error. I did become sad by that time and also determined to play the game. The time I was Grade 5, my classmate told me to play Grand Chase, I said yes and since the computer was updated by that time, I was successful in playing the game. Grand Chase by that time just only started and there were only like, 7 or 8 characters available. It was really fun back then, until I started playing the game seriously. Of all my classmates, I was the first one to reach level 65 (It was the highest back then) and I was the only one playing the game, until they decided to return. Once again, we all played together. By the time I reached 2nd Year High School, a classmate told me to play League of Legends. I was curious by that time if LoL is really interesting. I downloaded and played it, and my first champion I used there is Vladimir. Since I was a noob back then, I thought he was a support. After that, I told my classmate that I used Vladimir as a support and he said that he was not really a support, but a carry. I said, oh really? Then he said yes, then he decided that he will come to my house and show me some champions so that I will be more interested in the game. He showed me Jarvan IV. He was really cool because he was a prince that kicks butt XD , and he played 1 game using Graves. He really kicked butt during that game, and after that, I realized that I need to play this. From that determination, I am now an experienced player. I played for almost 3 years, climbing up to the highest rank. For FPS games, I mentioned earlier that I started playing Counter Strike when I was a kid. I was a kid with a wide imagination, so I imagined that I was holding a gun and I shoot enemies with it. It was back at 2008 that I saw the newly released game called K.O.S. : Secret Operations (BTW K.O.S. means Kill on Sight). I told my my classmates who are twins that there will be a FPS game that will be released anytime soon and we should play it. They agreed and we had lots of fun playing it. It gives me the adrenaline rush whenever I play those kind of games. One time, after a game, my kills is triple digits, around 200+, and my death is only 2 digits, like 30 below. I can’t really remember since it was really a long time ago.
I am still a gamer and I am currently playing LoL, Elsword, DragonNest. If you like, message me if you want me to play with you :)
And that’s it for “ How I started playing games! “ . I hope you’ve enjoy reading and please support me :) Thanks everybody!

If you want it, do it. If you don’t want it, give me a reason why. (posted 11th of June 2015)
Have you ever encountered a big decision in life that you need to think about really carefully? Admit it, we all had experiences about that. People might be thinking that doing a certain thing might do them harm, or it might give them happiness. Some just do it because they have to, or simply just doing it for fun.
I was 1st year college back then when I decided to create a blog. I was thinking if this will be read by those people who wanted to read, or I’ll be just ignored by people. You know, sometimes I’m struck with what I call attention seeking sickness, where you desperately need one’s attention because I wanted to. But then I realized that if ever that I will let that “sickness” will strike me, I will never be able to do what I want in life. So I restarted myself as a new individual who will accept anything and everything life has to offer. And I will find my inspiration in doing this. If you want to find out who is or are my inspiration in doing my blog, feel free to check The persons who inspired me to do blogging! . Then I am here now, starting my life as a blogger. What am I saying is, if you really want to do something, you need to find a way that will enable you to achieve your dream. If ever that you don’t like what you are doing, find a reason to quit that thing you are doing.
I know that I have to improve something on this blog, so I will have to ask you to help me if ever that there are things that are in need of improving or there is something you do not like on my blog, and I will be addressing all your comments and suggestions as long as I can manage it. Thank you very much and I hope you will read my blog and support me :)

Importance of Communication (posted 12th of June 2015)
Communication is really important for us. How can a person know that you are asking for directions if you won’t talk? Of course, you’ll ask, “Good Morning Mr./Ms. , where can I find (insert place here)? . It is the main purpose of communication, to exchange information from one source to another.
I was on a mall just today and I just got home. I was talking with some friends about my experiences as a convention goer. Then I told them my experiences about the meet and greet in Ozine 2015 (That’s in Philippines). Of course there are serious moments, and funny moments where they mistook me for a pervert. I just laughed it off, and continued with my storytelling. There was some kind of hint that they are really interested in the story and they also want to come with me, so that they would be able to experience what are we doing during cosplay conventions. I was really happy that I am able to share my experiences. I didn’t think that it would give so much curiosity to my friends. It is really important to keep touch with friends about what is happening about something like school, games, events etc. etc. Being informed about something is really important because it gives you the idea about what to talk about and not to talk about.
Thank you very much for reading and I hope you will support me :)

Bias (posted 18th of June 2015)
Hello everyone! I go by the name of Colichemarde :) . Today I’ll be talking about being biased on games other than the game you are playing.
I’ll be starting with the definition of bias. Bias is “prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair”. Usually, this happens whenever we favor something, for example, games. It starts when we start to play a famous game and you get addicted it. Of course, you will find people that can relate to the game you are playing, and begin talking about how amazing the game is. During that time, you begin developing favoritism towards that game. And whenever you hear other people talking about other games, you feel offended because the game you are playing is better that the game they are playing. I’ll be giving a concrete example, just in case. People nowadays favor Dota 2 over League of Legends because the prize pool every championships on Dota 2 is really larger than LoL. Well, I admit that the fact stated before is really true. I think the prize pool for the championships in Dota 2 is around $16000000. The thing is, you don’t really have to tell us that LoL sucks and we really have a low prize pool of $1000000 and a trophy. And I think that doesn’t have to be the basis when you play games. The bases for the games to be played by people should be “if the game is really enjoyable”, “does the game really suit me as a person”, and “if the game does not bore me”, not the prize pool etc. etc. I admit, sometimes that I am biased on games, but upon checking the info about the game, I really appreciate the game itself. I play many types of games, from consoles like GameBoy to computer games like League and DragonNest. I enjoy them, and I don’t feel biased about them.
I suggest people that they should not be biased about games because, games connects us people. Games is also a way of relieving stress. It also serves as a way of communication to people.
I hope that you learned a very valuable lesson by reading this. I give you my sincerest thanks to each reader of my blog. If you liked the blog, do follow me here on Tumblr or share this with your friends. For more updates, please follow me on social media:
